Board texture describes how the board (flop/turn/river) interacts with ranges: how many draws exist, how often players connect, and how quickly equity can change.
A-7-2 rainbow is a dry board: few draws and fewer strong connections.
J-10-9 with two suits is a wet (dynamic) board: many straight and flush draws, and lots of hands can continue.
